Every time I have had to cry in a movie, I’ve had to use glycerine. Although I’ve always tried to shed tears without using it, I’ve never been very successful. That is, until now. In Rasu Mathuravan’s Muthukku Muthaaga, I didn’t have to use any glycerine to shed tears. Mathuravan sir was so convincing. His script was so touching that he broke down while narrating it to me. I too found tears rolling down my cheeks while listening to it,” disclosed actress Monica at the audio launch function of Muthukku Muthaaga.
The event, which was held at a preview theatre in the city on Friday, was presided by well known director Manivannan. R K Selvamani, who also participated in the function, showered praise on the director and the entire cast of the film, which deals with relationships and both the strength they provide and the pain that they cause. Music for the film has been composed by Kaviperiyathambi.
Actress Saranya, actors Ilavarasan, Vikranth and Raj Kapoor were among those who were present on the occasion.
